Cake Fridays

TGIF!  These holiday Nutella bites are the perfect end to any week, whether it was pleasant or unpleasant.  I have to say this week was calmer than last week with Halloween, etc. but nonetheless, I need some cake to celebrate its end!

I made these for the first time and really like their portability, texture, and flavor.  You can't go wrong with Nutella and because of their size, these mini cupcakes are easy to bring to any occasion.  They are super soft and moist with a hint of sweet chocolate flavor.  I will definitely be making these again for Christmas.  They are so festive and pretty.

Holiday Nutella Bites

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl whisk together the Nutella, eggs, sugar, milk, and vanilla.
  • Whisk in the flour and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Grease a mini brownie pan or a mini cupcake pan with baking spray..
  • Pour the Nutella mixture into each cavity, about 2/3 full.
  • Bake for 14 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Invert onto a cooling rack and let cool.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
Notes
Double the recipe if using an 8x8 brownie pan.

We added Whoppers candy to some.

Next time I might add a lighter piece of candy :)
