I can't say enough good things about these biscuits. They've been on my list of "baked goods to try" and I finally made them. I wish I hadn't waited so long! These are not only good with breakfast, they are a great bread side item to any lunch or dinner. They are more savory than sweet due to the bitter molasses, the spicy pepper and the lemony thyme. They are dense and chewy with just the right amount of nooks and crannies to catch some melted butter. These are bold, daring and absolutely delicious.
