Chocolate Sprinkles Cookies
Slightly Adapted from Bake or Break
- 1 C all-purpose flour
- 1/4 C wheat germ
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 C unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 C granulated sugar
- 1/2 C packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 t vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease or line baking sheets. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Using
an electric mixer, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
Add egg and beat just until combined. Mix in vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing until almost combined. Stir in sprinkles. *Drop
dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared pans. Bake 9 minutes. Cool on
pan on wire rack for a few minutes. Then, transfer from pan to wire
racks to cool completely.
*I refrigerated the dough for 1-2 hours in the fridge before baking.
